What Is CRM Software?

Posted in  best crm software, best lead capture, business crm software, crm for small business, crm marketing software, lead capture, lead management software   |   No Comments »

CRM stands for Customer Relationship Management. A CRM software is a tool which allows organizations and businesses to manage its customers in an efficient manner.

On its own, a CRM software is not enough. To use CRM software more effectively, a company has to establish a system of business processes and procedures to supplement the CRM business tool. The business processes and procedures implemented should be aligned with the CRM software being used. Otherwise, the use of CRM becomes chaotic and complex and the software will not be well-received by the employees of the company.

When this initial obstacle has been overcome, the power of using a CRM software takes off. Optimal use of a CRM software will result to better management of customer interactions at all points of contact: from lead capture and generation, lead incubation and finally lead conversion.

Managing the entire customer related functions with the use of CRM software is the key to business success. Customers become more satisfied, gratified and delighted. With the efficiencies introduced by a CRM software, it will reduce operating costs and help all customer-facing personnel of the company make better and timely decisions. More importantly, a successful CRM software implementation will result to more happy customers which will translate to more profits for the company.

Why Are Customer Relationships Important Today?

Posted in  business crm software, crm consulting, crm for small business, crm marketing software   |   No Comments »

Of all the things that you’ll need in order to make your business a success, building excellent customer relationships is one of the most important. Common sense would tell you that the success you have with customers will increase the profitability of your business. The key success objective is not to be preoccupied with one-time sales, as most businesses would like to believe, but to have sustained and growing sales. The only way to achieve this is to nurture customers relationships, evolving first time buyers to loyal, long-term customers. This article discusses the importance and the three ways to building customer relationships to set your business apart from the rest and help your business to thrive.

Make your business customer-centric
With the ever increasing competitiveness in any market, product differentiation, in terms of prices, quality or packaging, is no longer the major factor for a business to stand out. More businesses are attaining success thru customer-centric initiatives by meeting the customers needs and converting these needs into opportunities. Being customer-centric may include activities like faster response to inquiries; easier access thru phone, email or 24×7 web access; efficient delivery and excellent after sales service and support.

Establish reliable partners
Include your partners in your customer relationship lifecycle. For example, if you outsource delivery of products, make sure the company doing this is aiming for the same goals as your business goals. If delivery gets delayed, your customers will be chasing your company and not your partners. In any business, the last mile of providing excellent customer relationships is as important as the first mile.

Implement CRM system
By having a customer relationship management in place, your business gains insights into their customers’ needs, harnesses opportunities to respond to those needs and increases customer retention. The smooth integration of processes provided by CRM can turn challenges into opportunities and can increase profitability. With CRM, every member of the company from marketing, sales and customer service will have the appropriate visibility into customers’ information, all designed to align company activities for building stronger customer relationships.

All the above are creative ways to have excellent customer relationships. Knowing its importance, you will definitely want to implement a CRM system on your organization. The easiest and quickest method to do this is to a have a web-based CRM solution seamlessly integrated with your business processes like lead generation, sales activities, marketing campaigns, newsletters circulations and direct mailings. Maintaining strong customer relationships will help you gain more business and your company will be much more appealing to customers once a CRM is in place.

CRM Consultants are but a few! Learn what to know now.

I have noticed that there are several customer relationship software applications on the web. Some are “online” based while others are run locally off your computer.

The first thing to consider is which way to go with your lead managment software. When determining your crm for your small to medium business, you will want to consider a few factors.  I have listed a few here:

  • Ease of Use.
  • Does it have an automated lead manager that captures leads off the Internet.
  • Can you have all your employees on 1 central CRM.
  • Can you distribute leads to your employees/agents/contractors yet never lose that lead.
  • Does the system alert you when an activity must be completed.
  • Can you be part of a lead sharing network where you can get paid for the lead you have shared.

So, first and foremost…let’s get this clear.. Do not trust your locally installed CRM software.

  • Why? Your computer can crash. Even though you may back up your computer, things can go wrong.
  • You’ll have a hard time sharing your content without having to do an elaborate sharing network within the company.
  • You can’t work from your home unless you pay for a vpn service.

So, in my humble opinion, an “online” based crm software application is the only way to go!

Now, here the positives and negatives of an online based customer relationship managment software:

  • Positives: Can get to it from any computer.
  • Positives: You can link to other strong platforms though an API.
  • Positvies:You can share lead information easier with your team.
  • Negatives: If your Internet is down, you can not get to your data.
  • Negatives: All the feature sets for an online version takes longer to build and therefore some local based applications have more built in feature sets.

In weighing the pros and cons, it is clear that to move forward in today’s Internet marketing, you need to be able to have fast access to data. That is why I am a proponent of an online crm marketing.

Now, for example, a real estate crm software as well as a mortgage crm is very necessary due to the fact that most buyers are now starting on the Internet before they choose an agent.  There are several great crm marketing software applications available. One that we built from users experience is the Masterdigm CRM software system.  Interested in CRM consultation?
